Does anyone have a recommendation on a game engine to use to make an FMV game?
The problem ive come across is that many game engines dont have an easy way to implement videos, or they are very costly (unity pro - $1500)
Thanks

I don't know much about game engines but this thread on the Unity website discusses the topic. Also, if you're simply doing an interactive movie (no 3D environments or sprites), I ran across this tool by Interlude called Treehouse. It helps developers creates online interactive films with branching storylines. The Surviving Scream interactive online game was made using the Treehouse software.

Thanks for the response,
I checked out Unity but it looks like only Unity Pro (expensive) can handle video playback.
Treehouse looks interesting, im going to explore it to see what it is capable of.
Another engine is Clickteam Multimedia Fusion, I asked on their forums and it has video playback functionality.
